EDUCATION

Richard studied marketing in the Faculty of Commerce at the University of British Columbia. He obtained his Real Estate Sales License in 1972 and obtained his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation in 1978.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Richard started his real estate career in 1970 as a Property Manager with Royal Trust Co. and was involved with residential and estate properties. In 1972 he joined MacAulay, Nicols, Maitland where he was extensively involved in the mangement of downtown office buildings with building staff (Royal Bank Building, Rogers Building, Standard Building and 1090 West Pender Building). Shopping centers and industrial properties.

In 1983 he joined Wolstencroft Realty as an Industrial, Commercial and Investment salesperson.

In 1985 he joined CB Richard Ellis Limited (previously Coldwell Banker Inc.) where he was involved in the sale and leasing of commercial and industrial properties. In 1998 he transferred to CB Richard Ellis Property Management Services to assume a portfolio of commercial properties. This company is now Martello Property Services Inc.
